Benjamin T. Onderdonk papers, 1827-1843, n.d.

Correspondence, 1827-1843, and sermons, undated. The correspondence consists of twelve letters, mostly written by Onderdonk to his sons, Henry and William, discussing family and personal matters, including his mother's death. There are also a letter to William Onderdonk from an unidentified writer in New Orleans in 1837, discussing Texan affairs, and an unrelated letter from William L. Stone, dated 1837. The rest of the collection consists of 249 manuscript sermons.
